Day
01: Mumbai: On arrival you will be met by our representative &
transferred to hotel, where we will be holding the rooms on ready occupancy
basis. After traditional welcome check in into hotel. Overnight to be spent
at hotel.
Day 02: Aurangabad: After Breakfast, one hour boat ride across
Mumbai Harbor brings you to the lush green Elephanta Island. Here, visit some
of the huge and intricately carved Elephanta Caves that date back to the 8th
century. For rows of massive columns cut into solid rock from three magnificent
avenues, lead to the outstanding three-headed sculpture representing Brahma
the Creator, Vishnu the Preserver and Shiva the Destroyer. Dedicated to Shiva,
the beauty and power of these phenomenal sculptures depicting the various manifestations
of Shiva is overpowering.
Later in the afternoon transfer to the airport for Bombay/Aurangabad flight.
Lea arrival met and transferred to hotel rest of the day at Leisure. Dinner
and overnight at hotel.
Day
03: Aurangabad: After breakfast proceed for a full day tour of Ajanta Caves
& Ellora Caves.
Ajanta Caves - located 100 kms, northeast of Aurangabad in the Waghora valley.
These magnificent rock-cut caves, 30 in number, date from 2nd BC to 7th Century
AD. They are exclusively Buddhist, unique in that they combine three forms of
Art - architecture, sculpture and painting. The superb frescoes and paintings
depict episodes from the Jataka stories and the life of Lord Buddha. (Closed
on Mondays)
Ellora Caves - 30 kms from Aurangabad lie the finest rock cut cave temples of
Ellora - 10th & 11th century, which encompasses the three religion - Hinduism,
Buddhism and Jainism. Of the 34 caves that are both monasteries and temples,
the most remarkable is the magnificent Kailasa temple. The entire structure
was carved out of a monolith and took over 100 years to complete. The temple
itself is decorated with themes and incidents from the ancient legends and puranas
in a manner that leaves one in rapturous delight.
Late afternoon transfer to the airport for Aurangabad/Bombay flight.Upon arrival
met and transferred to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day
04: Mumbai: Breakfast at the hotel. Morning at leisure for own activities
like swimming, etc. Lunch at the hotel.
Afternoon, city tour of Mumbai - the great port city with its Victorian Gothic
buildings from the British Raj Era mingling with the modern.
The tour includes 'Gateway of India' overlooking the Harbour, the 'Towers of
Silence', 'Marine Drive', the 'Colaba Causeway' - the commercial heart of Bombay
and the Dhobi Ghat, the unique and colourful outdoor 'laundry'. Drive upto the
Malabar Hill to the lovely 'Hanging Gardens' and the Kamla Nehru Park from where
you will get a wonderful view of Mumbai and the Arabian Sea, spread out before
you. Also visit Mani Bhawan, a small museum dedicated to the life and works
of Mahatma Gandhi, and the bustling Crawford Market. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Udaipur: Breakfast will be given at the hotel. You will
check out and move to the airport for your flight to Udaipur.
Udaipur: It is often called as 'The Jewel of Mewar' because of its beautiful
lakes. It is still ruled by the Sisodia Dynasty, since 1200 years.
Check in to the hotel as soon as you reach Udaipur. You may relax in the afternoon
at the hotel. In the evening, you will be taken for a motor launch cruise on
the Lake Pichola. You will also visit the Jag Mandir Palace, which is an island
palace in the middle of the lake. Overnight stay will be at Udaipur
Day 06: Udaipur: After having lunch at the hotel you proceed for sight
seeing. You will be taken to the City Palace and the Peacock Courtyard, Sahelion-ki-Bari
Gardens, the Jagdish Temple and the Local Folk Museum. You will enjoy a sumptuous
dinner at Devigarh Palace Hotel. Overnight stay will be at Udaipur.
Day
07: Jaipur: Begin your day at leisure. Enjoy a scrumptious breakfast
and board a flight to Jaipur. Arrive in Jaipur. Check in at the hotel, unpack
and relax. Visit the festive markets of Jaipur. Eat, shop and make merry at
the ancient Jaipur market lanes. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 08: Jaipur: A full day sightseeing tour of Jaipur. Begin with
the Amber Fort. Visit the Jai Mandir, Sheesh Mahal, Ganesh Pole, Narsingh Temple
and Jagat Shiromani Temple within the fort followed by tour of the City Palace
complex, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and Laxhmi Narayan Temple. In the evening,
on the last leg of your Golden Triangle Tour, go on an extensive shopping excursions
to the famous markets in Jaipur - Jauhari, Bapu and Nehru Bazaars. Overnight
stay in Jaipur.
Day 09: Agra: Get ready for one of the most memorable experiences
of your life, as the next destination is Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal. In
the morning you will be driven to Agra, visiting Fatehpur Sikri on the way,
the magnificent fortified Ghost city. The afternoon excursion at Agra includes
the Taj Mahal, the Agra fort and Itimad-Ud-Daulah's tomb. Evening will be at
leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Agra.
Day
10: Khajuraho: From Orchha you will be driven to Khajuraho, the temple
town known for its beautiful, exotic and stunning temple sculpture and craftsmanship.
The places of interest at Khajuraho include the Hindu Temples (built by the
Chandela rulers) and the township. Explore the beauty of the Khajuraho temples.
The excellent craftsmanship of these temples highlights the zenith of temple
architecture and sculpture in ancient India. In the evening you will be transferred
to Airport to catch the flight to Varanasi. Reaching Varanasi you will be transferred
to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Varanasi.
Day 11: Varanasi: The excursion in Varanasi begins with a boat
ride on the holy Ganges. Other places of interest at Varanasi are Ganga Ghats,
temples, Bharat Mata temple, Vishwanath temple and the Benares Hindu University,
the largest residential university in India. You have the luxury of leisure
in the evening. Overnight will be at hotel.
Day 12: Varanasi: After breakfast set out for an excursion to
Sarnath, the place associated with Buddhism as Lord Buddha preached his first
sermon to his disciples. The places of interest at Sarnath are the Buddhist
temples, the Dhamekha stupa, the Chaukhandi stupa and the archaeological museum.
Day 13: Kathmandu: Transfer to airport to catch the flight for
Kathmandu. Upon arrival at Kathmandu our representative will transfer you to
hotel. Rest day is leisure for own activities like swimming, etc. Overnight
stay will be at hotel in Kathmandu.
Day
14: Kathmandu: After your breakfast you will be taken for a guided
half-Day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city. In the afternoon also the sightseeing
tour of Bhadgaon, Pashupatinath and Bodhanath continues. Stay overnight at Kathmandu.
Day 15: Kathmandu: Day free in Kathmandu for shopping / leisure.
Overnight Kathmandu.
Day 16: Chitwan National Park: Early morning drive to Chitwan
National Park. Check-in at the lodge. Afternoon elephant safari at Royal Chitwan
Park for nature watch. Overnight at a wildlife resort.
Day 17: Chitwan National Park: Early morning park visit on an
elephant / jeep. In the afternoon, set out for bird watching in the canoes.
In the evening, a stick dance of the local people shall be organised (optional).
Overnight at a wildlife resort.
Day 18: Pokhara: This morning embark upon your drive to Pokhara.
For the mountain lover, Annapurna Range and Fishtail peak is just standing in
front of you for clear views. Overnight at Pokhara.
Day 19: Pokhara: An easy trekking excursion to Sarangkot. Overnight at
Pokhara

20: New Delhi: Transfer to Airport to board your connecting flight
to Delhi where we will be holding the rooms for wash & change. Rest of the
time is free for leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 21: New Delhi: In the first half of the day enjoy a city tour
covering India Gate, President's mansion, Humayun's Tomb, Qutab Minar, Laxmi
Narayan Temple. After lunch enjoy a city tour of Old Delhi covering Jama Masjid,
Red Fort, Gandhi Memorial followed by sound & light show at the Red Fort.
Later transfer to International Airport to catch the flight to your destination.
